Sorry, but I think the poster is right, the use of the burner is only for the serperation of the uranium-235. The chain reaction will start by when two uranium-235 impact each other. If the collision is powerful enough (boom 'little boy' *made in USA* use TNT to speed up the U-235  for improve the power of the collision) the chain reaction by start and the boom will explore.  Anyway this is a really old techni. for starting a fission la....
