That's correct. If you only finish High School(secondary school in HK). You probably only learning the GOOD THINGS about a culture, not the in dept details. I've been studying in America since I was in High School. (and finsih my Degree a few years back.) For instance, High School's American History is full of heroic AMERICAN MOVENT. "We civilized the Indians." "We free our people from UK.", ETC. All good history, nothing negative.
However, University has a much more factural record about what was really happen. WHITES actually masacure INIDANS for their lands. WHITES back stap those GOOD INDIANS who saved them. The independant of United States is actually about "I(USA) am making $$$, why do I have to share it with UK?). It's just a breif example about HISTORY.
P.S. Not only Japanese History of China Invation has been corrected to POSITIVE. But even the COUNTRY OF FREEDOM do this to their text books. Why? Because it's about point of view. Winner always sees their act is right. ONLY THE GREAT MAN WRITE HISTORY. |
