I saw the documentary of this murder, it is really a murder by the psychotic son to wipe his family away. He had drug problem and the family was about to kick him out! This case was so interesting let the author of this book to add devil and ghostly elements to the story to make it more interesting. It really wasn't a haunted house before the murder.
